The perfect weather, beautiful flowers, and a couple completely in love made this engagement photoshoot at Gilcrease Museum absolutely to die for! To top it off, Hannah and Jesse have the most amazing love story that began while doing missions work in India (Need I say more?). I’m also a sucker for couples who fall in love fast, have short engagements, and without hesitation marry their best friend. Engagement photography is such a special aspect of the LEP wedding photography experience, because it might be the first time you and your fiance get professional pictures taken. I was selfishly sad when I said goodbye over breakfast to Hannah and Jesse before they flew back to India.
As a Tulsa wedding photographer, and Midwest wedding photographer in general, I have the opportunity to shoot at hidden gem locations, like this beautiful museum in the midst of May when the flowers are at full bloom. The Gilcrease Museum has so many locations for photos in such a small area that it is perfect to get a variety of photos without hiking all over the city. Believe me, I will be planning more engagement photography here next May when the flowers are blooming! Hannah’s dress matched the scenery perfectly, and both their smiles could light up a whole room! Doing an engagement photoshoot for elegant couples like them make my heart soar. They totally rocked their beautiful engagement session. Keep an eye out on my blog for their wedding because it was just as sweet!
I’m sure you will be a fan of the pink flowers in these pictures just as much as I am! Scroll down to see them!
And here come the beautiful pink flowers! My face lit up so much when I saw them! The Gilcrease Museum has a beautiful monument with steps trailing both sides and a wall of flowers. Perfect to capture pictures sitting down and snuggling!
Finally, one of my favorite spots contained this gorgeous arch of greens. It’s the perfect stroll in the park!
