I’m Laura, a Tulsa Wedding Photographer who frequently slings 5 cameras at a time. I enjoy spending time with incredible couples around Oklahoma when I’m not busy being a mother and wife. Sara and Will’s engagement session took place at the stunning Philbrook Museum, a true gem in Tulsa. It’s known for its Italian Renaissance villa architecture and lush gardens, and despite the not-so-stellar weather forecast, we decided to take a chance and go for it! They are living out of town so we only had a small window of time to do their photos. I’m glad we went for it! Sara donned her bright yellow spring-themed dress, adding a splash of sunshine to the otherwise cloudy day. Thankfully, we were greeted with soft, flattering light. Halfway through, we caught a sweet moment of sunshine. It casted the warm glow us photographers know and love.

As we strolled through the gardens, we paused to snap photos while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere surrounding us . It’s always a treat to work as a Tulsa wedding photographer in such beautiful, iconic places. We shot a mix of traditional and candid shots that showcased their personalities, which were both joyful and soft.

Throughout the session, I shot a variety of film photos. I embrace the beauty and slowness of the medium which creates timeless images. We explored various nooks of the museum gardens, each corner offering its own unique charm. The soft light enveloped Sara and Will like a dream. Their chemistry and love for one another reminded me why being a Tulsa wedding photographer is such a rewarding experience. To top it off, we will be back here in a year for their wedding! I cannot wait to see them again on their day planned by EverSomething!
