The Story of the Shoot
To begin, there’s something undeniably magical about a wedding set deep in the woods during golden hour. This stylized wedding photoshoot was a dream from beginning to end. As an Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer, I often get to explore some of the state’s most beautiful outdoor settings and venues. Likewise, going to The Baumberhof felt like stepping into a fairytale storybook.
Overall, the weather was warm, yet the shade from the trees took the edge off the heat. The grass beneath our feet was vibrant and lush—like it had been waiting all season just for this day. Later, as the sun began to dip below the trees, it cast a warm light that wrapped around the couple. They laughed, smiled, and made such a great pair you’d never know they weren’t a real couple. It was effortless joy, and that energy radiated throughout the evening.
Moving on to the color palette – it was the perfect balance of soft yet lively. Pastels danced through the floral arrangements, adding a timeless elegance with just a touch of whimsy. From delicate pinks and creams to bright pinks and yellows, every detail felt intentional and romantic.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible vendor team. The creative talent in Oklahoma never ceases to amaze me. From the floral design to the styling, every vendor brought their best work and collaborated seamlessly to bring this vision to life. Aisle Be With You planning is the mastermind behind this shoot and it’s always such an honor to work alongside professionals who pour their heart into what they do.
Thus, as an Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer, I’m constantly inspired by the couples I work with and the incredible creative community here. This shoot reminded me of why I love what I do—capturing real emotion in beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces.
