Owen & Beth – Private Estate

Owen and Beth had an intimate wedding in their backyard right in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends, and their love for Hawaii and cultural background provided the foundation for their colorful tropical wedding. As a Tulsa wedding photographer, I am familiar with many venues, but their wedding took place at their home, which proves a truly personalized touch to their images – which I adore! Their wedding took place over brunch, which was very fitting to their personalities and the experience they wanted their guests to have. The color theme of the wedding consisted of bright pinks, oranges, and yellows, softened with greenery. Large whicker chairs provided a unique backdrop for photos and large white balloons lined the side of their yard. Beth had a very clear vision of the day she’d been dreaming of, and her planner Britney Keirsey, brought the vision to life. They have soft souls with the sweetest smiles for one another. I got to meet them a few days before the wedding, and you wouldn’t believe it, but their back yard wasn’t even close to being renovated – but they knew what had to be done and their construction crew worked hard to create the ceremony space of their dreams. One of my favorite parts of the day was the catered meal that was prepared fresh in their own kitchen, then brought out to the deck for everyone to enjoy. I also loved seeing their dog pop in and out through out the day, and even got a shot of their pup by Beth’s dress. It are those personal touches that create a memorable experience. Their incredible vendor team helped them put together the wedding of their dreams, and I was blessed to photograph the details of the day.
